#3. Depression is not a choice

Felt Harder, Than Said
"Well, That's Depressing"

No one wishes to have dark days, sleepless nights, grumpy mornings and endless tunnel with no sign of hope. May be the angle within us has been dying for too long in the dark and that's how the evil (DEPRESSION) is born.

This pandemic created a sense of mass trauma, a collective grief and a feeling like the end of the world.  The signs of depression look a lot like life in the lock-down. The fear of being lonely, job insecurities, business downfall, domestic abuse and the list continues. Depression can make you feel so sad, so drained of hope that you do not want to get out of bed nor can you have a peaceful sleep.

1000s of friends and followers on social media, but are there any to be with you in your pain? You keep alot to yourself because its difficult to find someone who understand our state of mind.

Social media has empowered our lives, due to which today's world has become more of comparing lives with others, than appreciating everything we have or we are. We are all happy outside, in search of peace and calmness inside.

All we want is to laugh a little more from the bottom of our heart and relive the child within us.

"I may be Jobless, but I am surely not Worthless", this is something I have learned during this lock-down. This has helped me fight the battle against depression and motivated me to start something which makes me happy- My Paintings.

Give Me Some Sunshine
Give Me Some Rain
Give Me Another Chance
I Want To Grow Up Once Again
