#9. Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover

A life theme acknowledged by me is to never judge a book by its cover. Someone seem to be happy and cheerful may be struggling from deep sorrow and anxiety about the future.

In the current fast moving world we tend to make quick decision about everything, including creating opinions about the other person. Judging a person by witnessing only one season may not give us the correct picture. The person may be cold and harsh as winter because of the situation he is going through during that the particular time. Experiencing the different seasons or colour of a person, will make us know the characteristic, the problems and the situation of the person.

Treat people with love and respect, despite how bad your past experiences have been. This will surely not make the judgement overrule the way someone is supposed to be treated, to make yourself feel happy.

The best example i could think of is Naina from Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, who portrays to be a nerd and involved in studies with almost no friends. It was only the Manali Trip which changes her life because she was treated the right way by her new found friends.
